Data protection at 4ukey is built into account operations, not added as an afterthought.

Data Collection

We collect your name, email, phone number and payment identifiers — such as the UPI handle or Paytm mobile number you register — only when you voluntarily provide them during account creation or during a transaction.

Cookie Handling

Cookies on 4ukey are used to maintain your session and remember display preferences. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept the cookie notice; you can adjust preferences at any time from your account settings.

Account Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Two-step verification is available for all accounts, and any suspicious login from an unrecognised device triggers an automatic email alert to your registered address.

Data Retention

Active account data is held for as long as your account remains open. If you close your account, transaction records are retained only for the period required by applicable Indian financial regulations, then securely deleted.

Third-Party Sharing

We share data with payment processors — including the UPI network, Paytm and PhonePe gateways — strictly to complete your transactions. No data is sold to advertisers, and third-party processors are contractually bound to the same data standards we follow.

Requesting Changes

You can request access to your data, ask for corrections, or submit a deletion request at any time by emailing our privacy team or using the Help Centre form. We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the action within the statutory window.

We collect your name, email address, phone number and the payment identifier — UPI handle, Paytm or PhonePe number — you link to your account. We do not collect data beyond what is needed to operate your account securely.

Payment identifiers are stored in encrypted form on secured servers. We retain only the reference data needed to reconcile transactions; full card or bank credentials are never stored on our systems — those stay with the payment gateway.
